I am loving these blocks. I am tempted to just catch up to all of the past blocks and join the fun!

I'm backtracking since I just joined the forum this month. I've already made July's block, and today I made the May block. Here it is:

I thought it needed a little extra something in the middle, so I used an iron-on applique.

Labeelady that is a very pretty May block. Your printed flowers look so delicate. I like the applique in the center touch. Wonderful job. How many blocks do you have left to catch up with?

For this year, all except May & July. I may not make June's block. Looks a bit too daunting for beginners. Haven't looked at Jan thru April yet but will do so after I post this.

You can make your own version of the block. I know many people do not like or feel comfortable with applique. If you are comfortable with PP you can look on Quilters Cache and find a PP Bird house or Look up other piecing patterns for Bird Houses... OR you can completely pick a different block and share it for your June block. What ever works for you. Im glad you joined in
