Hello! This is going to be my first official mystery train ride! I did start #7 last week and am about 30% done the top...hope to finish it up in the next 2 weeks.

I don't have many scraps but I am finding they are starting to take up too much room so it's time to do something about it! My blocks will be bright pink, purple, blue, green and red with a white background.

Judy - should I go and cut my scraps to the sizes you mention in your first post or should I just wait until next week to cut?

About my goats, my husband and I have gotten tired of keeping about 10 acres mowed so I talked him into building a goat fence. We now have 3 young females and one grown pregnant one that we bought yesterday. They are so sweet. We get make a goat sound and call come here girls and here they come. My great grandchildren are fascinated with them. There are 2 white with red heads and 1 red with white head and one black with a white patch on her side. The man we bought them from called it red but I would say it is brown.

BettyB, I used to have goats and they were fun. Loved the little kids. Enjoyed watching them play.

Poker and Sewsew, like your fabrics. They're gonna be pretty.

Hey lizzie3 glad you joined the fun!

I'm in the month of quilting up over a dozen quilttops & getting bindings done, so will just print clues & get done whenever I can. I have done at least 1 or more of each of all Judy's mysteries since day 1...I hate that I have to put this on the back burner, but have to get these quilts done this month. They are baby quilts, a raffle quilt, 2 graduation quilts, wedding quilt, donation quilts...I know there are more than a dozen! But, once all that is done, I will definately make this cuz I can't imagine not making one of Judy's mysteries! I will follow the board though........

I told myself I wasn't going to get on this train because I am still working on my second #8 and my Large #9. However, I pulled these 3 sets just a few minutes ago. I like the colors. Maybe I will ride this train.

I am going to use my scraps from a half hexi quilt I made. I hope a dark brown background will work. It is the only large piece I have in this collection besides a wide stripe that I will be using for one of the borders.
