Bluebonnets, I really like your small quilt. The colors and blocks play well together.

Wow, I love everyone's versions!
Bluebonnet, don't you absolutely love it when serendipity kicks in?
Chasezzz, love those blocks together, pure genius!
Jan, I think your blocks are awesome, they look 3 dimensional and the colors look like Provence.
Angelia, your pinks are lovely. The controlled color scheme is so restful and soothing. I'm afraid mine is too busy.

I hope to get mine put together tonite. I used green for the background after auditioning at least 15 fabrics, but I'm
not thrilled with it now. I'm trying to make it more pleasing with my star fabric choice. So far I've auditioned at least 30 fabrics, I need to just pick one and go with it, after all, it's only one block!

Jan, your colors are wonderful! Those two blocks do go together great, and they both look fantastic in your colors.

Chasezzz beautiful runner---love your runner. Hope you get it done, what a prize that runner would be.. With my pumpkin fabric border, lol

Angelia----beautiful. The ribbons stand out so well. Great job

Bluebonnet---What a beautiful quilt top. What wonderful happenstance that you had those wonderful houses.

Looking good, kwiltkrazy, aren't these blocks fun to make?

Yes, I love it when serendipity kicks in. Many times I have thought about tossing those houses but couldn't do it.

love making the blocks, a crazy-9-patch. This particular block is really sensitive to color. Thanks for all the fun, and anticipation. I really am learning a lot about color, my weak suit.

Got it put together, with the borders it's about 18". I'm going to make it into a little wall hanging for my office at work. Going away this weekend so I hope to get it finished up next week. Thanks again Judy, this is a beautiful mystery block. I really enjoyed Fast And Furious!!

dhanke, lovely wall hanging. Agree this has been a very fun block. Love all the variations and projects! kwiltkrazy, you are right this block is very color-dependent and changes its look significantly with different choices (and yes, I am getting lots of use out of a single yard of that pumpkin fabric!).

I would make my star the same. Using the colors as I did, the bow or wing shapes get lost and that's what makes it match the ribbon. But I do like this block and like them together. What do you think? I made this block by using 4 Flying Geese and 4 striped sections like we made in the mystery block. It would require cutting eight rectangles of color 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 and sixteen white 3 1/2" squares. The star would be as posted in the mystery but the center star would also be white. May work on another set later and hoping someone else makes a set and will post them. (These are both 12" finished blocks.)

Thanks for taking the time to show the comparison, I like your way of thinking with the color combo and all.
