I love all the different fabrics used by everyone!...I will try to post a photo of mine so far---hopefully I have enough to enlarge mine..while I have been doing this I have also quilted 3 quilts for others--trying to do mystery 18...and made 2 of the 3 throw quilts that were ordered from a friend---multitasking at its finest LOL LOL luckily I havent gotten any of my fabric mixed up---

Due to the small amount of my medium fabric I had trouble cutting enough for 3 more blocks. Also, my piecing was off & im not real happy with how these extra 3 blocks look. I may use them as a table runner for myself & go on with a 3 X 3 quilt from the original 9. My points were harder to keep on these last 3, for some reason.

RJ, you're a quilting machine.

I got my squares done and ready to stitch together when my sewing machine started to act up. The top thread is catching on something so I guess I'll have to take it in. I have my old one around here someplace but I'll have to remember how to use it.

whitepine,

If your thread is catching somewhere above the needle plate, try pulling some Unwaxed dental floss through your tension disks, the same direction the thread travels. If it is catching below, look to make sure you don't have a piece of thread wrapped around something in your bobbin case. I just found one today in that area in one of my machines Hope one of these helps, I had to take my regular machine in 2 weeks ago and it had to go back to the factory so I totally understand a machine breakdown.

I almost forgot one other thing: I had thread catching on a nick on the thread spool once....

I just spent 2 full days cleaning out my sewing room. I'm exhausted!!!!! However, now I can find things
It was long overdue and I'm pleased right now.
I plan on working on my quilt tomorrow. I would like to make a wallhanging for our guest room. I think that's about 6 blocks.
