The book has some great block combination samples in it, you could make those if you want more than 50 for your quilt(s) but not any duplicate blocks.

Here are the fabrics I am using. I was going to do a kaleidoscope quilt with the butterflies, but figure I will get a similar effect in the stars...so there will be a little of that fabric in every block.

Pic #3 are all the fabrics I will be using

Most of the print fabrics are from the line "Shimmer"; the background fabrics are "Suedes"

I have blues, reds, and lime greens to date...will see what happens as far as the fabric I end up using. One day at a time.

Carriem I love your fabric, oh wait I have some in my stash just checked and I have exactly what you have there. Just goes to show we have excellent taste I purchased mine to make DD a quilt as she loves butterflies, just never got around to it (yet)

My colour scheme will be red black and white with maybe a touch of gold here and there

Mine will have a starry background (silver and gold) on dark blue and the starts themselves will be in the colour I like at that day
