Very pretty. Are all the blocks going to be the same size and one block per month posted here? Thanking you in advance....debby
we'll use block patterns that provide instructions for 12" finished, but individuals can choose to make them in different sizes if they want to.

Beautiful...those bees are turned around because they're happy to bee home, not out and about looking for nectar!

I really like this. I'm making my blocks pink, lime green, black with newspaper or similar printed fabric. One block a month, I can do that.
Fnished my block. I found this bundle of FQ at Joann's & decided to use it for my BOM this year.![]()

Thanks JudyThe picture does not do the fabrics justice.. I used scraps for this block and I'm currently playing with the idea of using this color scheme for the whole year.

Cas49or, yes, it's a FQ bundle I found at Joann's and fell in love with. I didn't have a plan for it but when Patrice posted the 1st block I thought it would work up pretty so I'll be using it along with gray & aqua from my stash.
Last year was the 1st year I made this BOM using consistant fabric instead of scrappy & I really like the results so decided to try it again this year.

Well that's good to know, hopefully I can find a bundle I like. When I did the 2013 BOM I bought a yard of each color and two of the background color -- I still have some left. With my learning curve I need extra, as I often teach myself how not to do something in order to do it.

Nice blocks from all that have finished. I really like this block.
Patrice...I plan to do this block once my wall painting is finished....probably will be February before that happens.
Lovely block pattern. I am using some of last year's BOM fabrics but have added some extra ones. Hope they work well together.
A good friend gave me some fat quarter of pinks that she didn't like. I thought they were pretty so I'm going to use them for this year's BOM.![]()
I liked Joyce's idea of using a fat quarter bundle for the BOM. I didn't see any I liked at Joann's so I looked at ebay. I found a two pkg of 8 and purchased. I included a note that she could switch it up and give me more variety if she wanted and she gave me 13 different fabrics at a great price! Some were choices I would not normally go for if I was shopping at the LQS so it will be interesting to see how they all work together, but she did a good job of noticing small nuances and matching fabric to them.
I got my first block done! It's interesting how the corner fabrics look all wrinkled up in the picture, they are not, it's the pattern in the fabric.
