Smile Mystery train 8

Hi, I am new to mystery train but I did finish the flimsy 😊. I ran out of the fabric sashing & stars so used small scraps to make piano key border. Enjoyed the ride, & all the other quilts that have been posted.

Deb -- really nice! I like your border a lot. Alternating colored keys with the light background gives it an entirely different effect.

Deb, Your piano key border sets off your quilt perfectly. Love your corners on the border. Your quilt is awesome.

Deb C. really like your piano key border especially the corners. Might have to try this pattern myself now that I've send your quilt. Great work.

This is a picture of my quilt now that it's finished. I donated it last night to the Lion's Club barter night. Everyone sit down now before continuing to read. It brought $100 for the club. I was so surprised. I never would have gotten that if I were to try to sell it. There was a beautiful afghan there done in a shell pattern that brought $100 too. I was very pleased to be able to raise that much for the Lion's club. We only spent $18. Sorry but $24 for a loaf of homemade bread was just way to much.
