"This is a scrappy quilt using dark, medium-dark, medium, bright, light and neutrals."

Judy, Should we save our "brights" for another clue, or can they be incorporated now. I have some yellows and oranges to use somewhere.

This is my first time doing the mystery and I want to make sure I'm doing all I'm suppose to do with each clue...I have been asking myself "Why haven't I done this before" this is great.

I am jumping aboard a bit late, but decided to take the plunge. By tonight, I will have step one finished. I have plenty of scraps to do this. I love scrappies so here I come. This is my first train ride. Then this next week I can have fun working on my second weeks clue.

I am excited to work on this quilt, and I am also doing cutting out of 1 1/2" postage stamps on the side to start a postage stamp quilt that I hope someday will get finished. I Hope I am not too late to jump aboard this train?

It's also my first time to do this mystery - but I love Mysteries and just finished Grand Illusion by Bonnie Hunter-- I have done all of her's since I found her site several years ago. I also love scraps so does get my attention when you say "Scrappy" and wanted to try this ride. Thanks so much, have lots of scraps and one of the sizes I cut into are three and a half inch squares, so first step was easy. Then I just had to figure out how it worked to get the next clue think I have it now! Carol (NW Arkansas)
