Made some maple bacon cookies for dh, and put some in the club car for all to enjoy. got all my triangles cut. silly me , misread, and cut out 96 triangles. was trying to do math in my head. go figure that's the problem. have fun all.
I see I'm not the only one who can't do math sometimes! Somehow I miscalculated in step one & doubled it. So decided to make two quilts! I've got clue 2 done for both now. Some very interesting combos going on, that's for sure.
Dropped a chocolate cheesecake off in the club car. Enjoy!

Thanks MamaHen for the Easy Angle tip...This is a favorite way for me to cut HST's, too. Here's a link for information.

if they are all supposed to be different, no two alike, do not see where the easy angle ruler is your friend this time..although i do love that ruler......and the companion angle ruler......ok, question...what is the measurement of the base of the two piece triangle??? is it 6 1/12 or 7 inches ???

I have my squares cut but will cut them into triangles tomorrow. I just wanted to put some fresh picked FL strawberries in the club car for y'all who are being good. Heck these babies are so sweet everyone should enjoy them!

If my math is correct, the base should measure 7 1/4" -- unless I'm way off!

I also had a shortage of fabric for my border blocks since I made mine larger. I ended up doing the border in alternating pairs of blocks with what you have as black/gold and ones with what you have as green all around the quilt. Don't have a picture yet as my photo doesn't do well when it's dark outside.
