Well thank you nana. I never thought of my mind to fingers typing as writing skills. I just say it as it is, tends to get me into trouble at times too. I agree, you have to laugh at things, sometimes it becomes the only way to handle it. Today the highlight of my day is getting out of work, going home and not having to shovel. Wonder what that feels like? Can't wait to find out.

My color isn't as dark as others here & it's a Christmas fabric but I think I can use regular fabric for the rest of the Mystery..I'm ready & on time for Saturday...Yay!
I hate red, but I love this, can't wait to see where this one is going.

Whew! Just caught up reading the thread! Ya'll have been busy! I had to wait to go shopping at our LQS to get my constant dark, brown. Due to weather & road conditions, they were closed. We've had sleet, freezing rain & now it's snowing again! We're expecting a hard freeze tonight, treacherous road conditions. Great time to being home quilting. I've got my 4 patches done in chocolate brown & cream.....all 96 blocks. This is between getting a show quilt done & now just got commissioned to do another one that has to be in the mail in 3 weeks! That one's going to have a lot of custom quilting on it too!
I'll bring a double chocolate chip bundt cake for tonights party. I'll be really ready for that chocolate wine by then!

Clue 1 is finished. I dug into my scrap bag for the constant dark which is black with magenta dots. As I did not have a piece big enough for Judy's required size I but the pieces into 2 1/2" squares and chain pieced them with the lights which were also cut into squares.

And I also finished Mystery Train #8. http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...59478-155.html

caroline, I think you and I are only two of a few who didn't use just whites or tans with the constant. I really like yours. But then I really like the others too. lol

Sorry can't be with you this weekend as I'm at Sherwood Forest Faire on weekends through the end of March.

Will provide y'all with some (dark) chocolate flavored honey sticks from Penny's Magic Garden. And yes they're healthy! And yummy too.

Penny's shop also has live herbs, herbal teas, bath salts and dream pillows as well as massage therapy, votive candles and an assortment of salves.

Hope the crazy weather doesn't keep all the patrons at home!

can't wait for the chocolate party tonight. that will make things go faster. we wake up with a chocolate hangover and then we get the next clue, can't wait any longer.

Here is a sample of my 4 patches. They look so boring after seeing some of the wonderful ones I've seen here!
