I think it is just beautiful Deecee! The corner flowers look like little butterflies. Did you paint on the little "feelers" or fussy cut fabric?

How pretty. I love how your flowers resemble pansies - so innocent & sweet.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I appreciate the boost. I posted my pic late last night after coming home from visiting DH in hospital. Not used to being "home alone".

Rox - I embroidered the feelers with a single thread.
The yellow fabric is patterned, but on the small area the pattern seemed to disappear and that petal looked a bit blank so decided to put something on it.

Love it! It's amazing to me that no matter what fabric is used, each block turns out so pretty and they all go together in the end!

Dee, it's really pretty, and not dull at all. Hope DH is soon home with you and recovering nicely.

Dee, that's just lovely!!!

maryb...what you said is so reassuring, bc as I am working on my blocks, although I love all my fabrics, I keep wondering what if they don't "go together", when the time comes?!
I am trying to do them in the order in the book (placement), so I can plan for them to go together.
