Loved my Bernina 440 also - and youre right - they charge enough for it - DH says the 830 is as much as a car and should have 'little people' in it driving it around!

I've had the Bernina just over 3 yrs but really didnt sew that much til recently - even now, I know I dont sew as much as many, because I also do a lot of hand sewing... Doubt I use the machine more than 5-6hr a week. I just dont remember what the warranty was, but it does sound like the repair place has taken action directly with Bernina - so I should have it or a replacement [I would hope] that works! ....someday....

Cre8, so sorry about your troubles.. hope they make it right for you.

Elle, congrats! How exciting! To actually make money on something you enjoy doing.

Pat, well, the barn was buzzing with people yesterday, lol. So I had a large audience witnessing the fall, including little children that were getting ready for a lesson and their moms  Mind you, people who know my horse, were just so shocked that he even spooked and I think they were more concerned about that than me,lol. Also the lady who walked by us when Danny spooked, felt really bad because she felt that she caused the spooking, I felt bad for her feeling bad, as things happen. All in all, it wasn't bad, and I fell so "gracefully'

Mousie, hubby is great, he made dinner and did the dishes last night, so I could just stay put, he is a wonderful man. :D

Hi ladies,
just popped in for a minute and was wowed to see this thread up to 211 pages! I gotta lot of reading to catch up..I had to take a break from AOTH and do some machine sewing. I just threw together sixteen 12" pineapple log cabin scrappy blocks for a sister in law. As is my style, I screwed up the light/dark sequence on several blocks ( my AADD and OD lol!) but I'm still happy enough with it that I'll sandwich it tomorrow and finish it up. Here's a photo (hope you don't mind it on this thread)
I'll be back to AOTH later..

It is indeed the Amalfi coast -Positano to be specific (where we lost a piece of our hearts and keep going back to find it, lol)

That is so lovely and cheerful Roxanne, and I would never have noticed anything with lights and darks - a scrappy is a scrappy, isn't it?
