I went to check your birdhouse block out, we used the same blue fabric for our house!! How crazy is that!!!

I tried and tried to applique birds and could not get one that I liked so I machine embroidered the bird. It turned out ok.

Love your embroidered bird!! It couldn't be cuter. The little eyes in the birdhouse opening are darling. Your block is adorable. Thank you for sharing.

Nice job Michelle! Sometimes birdies can be "copping an attitude" and ya just have to go with what works! It's all good!

The birdhouses are great! I'm just starting on mine this morning but wanted to look at the pictures first. Picked out my fabrics last night but after looking at the pics I think of others in my stash I may have to track down

Still have to stitch the applique bits down, but I love using double sided fusible to hold everything in place.

Hi SulaBug, Can't wait to see how you have put the blocks together. For me, that's the hard part and I'm looking forward to seeing what people do.

I finished my Spring Birdhouse today, but will have to wait til I get my "ole age pension" next week to get a new battery for camera.

Everyone else's are looking great. Hope mind looks O.K.

Better go now and start on School House since my husband may think sometimes I need to go back when I spell. LOL.

I just tell him, "You granduated from University and can't spell cat!" That helps. Ha!!
