Thank you!! I actually got that blue at Walmart on their clearance rack for less than $2 a yard. I was lucky!!!

Ya'll's flowers are so pretty it almost makes me want to try some machine applique! I might put it on my "someday when I'mretired and have more time" list. :lol: (my MIL had a list and 10 years after she retired she still hadn't gotten to any of the items because she found new things to do)

Ruth and I seem to be heading toward Christmas, yes? Sorry to've had such poor attendance here lately. I did file my tax return almost a week before the deadline this year. Woo-woo! I think this little tulip was an excellent choice; good practice on the "innies and outies"!

Appliqué is more fun than TurboTax, that is for sure!

I like the way you did your leaves.......Thinking Xmas gives me the shutters........I'm working on more flowers to go with it................My dog chewed up my pin cushion last night..sawdust and needles all over the rug. OK I guess I better go clean the mess
