Patrice! Patrice! Patrice!
3 blocks? I hate to tell you but, uh, they're not happening here! I vote for taking the rest of the year off! Uh-huh! Taking it off, I am! Except to finish all the other projects I have going. Ha!
Nice blocks though. If I were to do a BOM I'd certainly like these choices!! :lol:HOW did it get to be Dec. 17, already? Hmmm? Isn't is really just Feb. 17?
Have a great week everyone. May your fingers be nimble and your stitches perfect!

Well, geez, I have from midnight until 5 AM free..........I'll see what I can do! Thanks for uping the directions to 12 inch.

Hope Imak is feeling better way soon!

I know you did really well with your choices but I just have one other suggestion for a block or wall hanging:

Going to give these, all four, a go between now and oh.........first of February. lol lol I didn't do the cabbage rose, I just was to intimidated. But I AM going to get these done, somehow.

if you get all those blocks done by February, you'll still be about a year ahead of me, i think.

don't know why you worried so much over the cabbage rose. roses are never pointy or "perfect". the block shouldn't have to be, either. pick nice colors and it'll look great. :P

Thankyou Patrice for the great links, those are all lovely blocks. I'm afraid that I too will have to take a break for the rest of the year. I'm up to my eyeballs already  . But will definately be back playing catch up and having fun in the new year :P .

Cheers to all my BOM buddies, I think we should all give ourselves a pat on the back, we've done some great work this year  .

I agree with you ShellyQ! I joined later in the year but I really look forward to those two blocks each month. What's really fun is seeing everyone's interpretation. Everyone has such great fabrics and creativity. Kudos to all of you! And especially the block pickers! Thanks for making us think outside of the box!

 Where has the year gone? I still haven't caught up on the BOM from Oct- Dec. 2007 or gotten any of 2008 BOM done either. Between getting my sister's Red Hat Lap done for Christmas in 07 and doing mystrey on new years day. Now I'm trying to get Dad's suprise carpenter's tool Lap quilt done for his birthday THIS month, I just don't get quilts or any thing else done as quick as I would like. I guess I will just have to skip 08 and start again in 2009, along with all the other projects I have on my to do list that I haven't gotten done yet. Done going to get to be in the same catagory of words as finished if this keeps up.

I want to get back into the BOM to. I have 8 done and am going to put together 1 more to make a 3X3 quilt. I'm anxious to start with some new fabrics. Well, old fabrics. Have to use my stash.
