Block # 25
1.light T # 1 cut one 2-1/2" square.
2. light T # 3 cut two 2-7/8" squares mark line diagonally, corner to corner- set aside
3. dark T # 3 cut two 2-7/8" squares.
4.light T # 20 cut a strip 2-5/16" x 10" then every 2-5/16" to get four 2-5/16" then in half diagonally.
5.dark T # 13 cut two strips 1-7/8 x8-1/2" - layer the strips then cut every 1-7/8" to get eight 1-7/8" squares
then cut in half diagonally.
6. take one each square from steps 2 & 3, place them right sides facing,
sew a scant 1/4" seam on both sides of the marked line then cut on the line.
press to set the seam, open then press again. repeat for remaining 2 squares.

Block # 26
1. med T # 1 cut a strip 2-1/2" x8" then every 2-1/2" to get three 2-1/2" squares
2. dark T # 13 cut three strips 1-7/8" x 8-1/2 -cut every 1-7/8"on each strip to get TWELVE 1-7/8" squares.
3. light T # 13 follow step 2 for the same amount of squares.
as in previous blocks with template # 13 you can cut these squares in half and piece them individually
OR
You can mark the squares with a line diagonally-place a light and dark square right sides facing-sew a scant 1/4" seam
on both sides of the line. cut on the line in half. press to set the seam-open- then press again.
