I loved reading the letters in the book! I read them all in two days-- I couldn't put the book down. Some were so sentimental that they brought tears to my eyes. They were so encouraging. Those women were poor but overcame it, saw beauty in the outdoors, loved family, worked hard; I thought so well of them, and was proud of their industry and attitudes.

Here's my Aimee block.

Oops, sorry, I just noticed your question. I'm probably going to end up doing about half with this theme. I love that grey fabric. I think it's adorable! I do a lot of grey and aqua/blue though, so I'm trying to stretch myself on this project and expand my color choices. Although, week 3, I'm going back to that grey as my theme.

Piaco, welcome to this new adventure; great start with your three blocks.

Givio, great first block; you are going to 'wow' us with everyone of your blocks! Looking forward to seeing more of them.
