I have 'Granny' done and it fits into the cold weather pattern Snow-Good:Look at what its says...LOL! Heather I am not sure about...have it ready to cut out. Keep warm. Think its time to be a 'snowbird' and go South...way down South.

I love the snowmen and snowflakes QNS! I am posting Granny which I made in an attempt to catch up. You can tell by looking at her that I haven't done this in a while. I need to do it over as the points don't meet and I am not happy with it but I feel the need to contribute!

Love the colors you used, Pam. You really do not need to be so hard on yourself....it is done and posted and that is very neat. I like it; we are not perfect, and after the whole quilt is together, it will be hard to spot any imperfections!

QNS that block is too cute--and very appropriate for today: it's snowing and the wind is gusting away. Pam, QNS is right--remember there are 90+ blocks in this quilt so minor imperfections will be almost invisible. I have a few "oops" in my mix of blocks, some I may do over, most I won't. Here are mine for this week; pics aren't great--still getting used to new camera.

oh such nice blocks, gals....each special in their own way...the older I get the less I need to have perfect blocks...when one looks at the antique quilts one sees many imperfections...My aim is to sew a block correctly, but you know some days my aim is a little off.

junercrosslin, these blocks are from Laurie Hird's Farmer's Wife 1930's Sampler book. The following is a link to her blog for more info.

Grandmother: You might need your Sun Glasses to view this block. Grandmother is pure Sun Light, a joy to be around to have fun! She stood five foot two, and had a funny bone in her body twice her length .Family gatherings were held at her house...five rooms and a path...because they always were so much fun. I miss her.
