I sewed the Iowa block and discovered I had Arizona pieces cut so sewed it up tonight. Now off to pick fabrics for the remaining 4 back track and next week's blocks.

Thank you, OKSGlad!! ... for this lovely "nightcap" before I headed to bed ... just what I needed to sleep on for the night.
Glad you made the block anyways ... as it's a keeper! Great grape background really lets the print pop out!
Extra blocks are good ... I had 5 extra for the FWS, and it was nice to have them to switch in and out as I did my placement. Guess what? the 5 that didn't make the cuts weren't the ones that I thought I'd be leaving out!
For the PC quilt, it's 9x10 blocks... so ten extra and you could have a square quilt. For my bed, I find square quilts work better!! So yes, chances are I just might do ten extras (or more!)

Just like the kids, homework during Spring Break!!
Engine #1 is "At The Depot" after riding along the grass lined tracks behind my property!! Along the way they saw wheat and corn fields, though IRL, the two would not be mature at the same time!
Meanwhile Roy Rogers and Trigger are riding across "Arizona" singing ...

Oh, I like those. The pale yellow makes all your colors pop. Great blocks. This is fun going back looking at the beginning blocks (knowing I don't have to do them again LOL). I can't wait to see your first 15 all together.
