Yes, QuiltE, I have my blocks, *in a whisper* all done for PC. Now working on Bonus Block (s). Ordered fabric from Missouri Quilt C., two hours away from me and waited impatiently 3 days for PO to sent it to Kansas City, Hazelwood, and finally to Unionville...it toured Missouri from Northwest to Southeast before coming up to North Central Missouri. And you wonder why the USPO is broke!!
Have also a new pattern from Missouri Q. called "Pretzel" . Looks like fun. Also a table runner from Plainsville, Illiinois, shop....its a turkey table runner. Looking at gs quilt on vertical board; it has problems. ... need solutions. Not all blocks match...mmmm, how did I do that??? Time recheck my measurements of each strip...
So glad everyone had a good weekend and looking forward to their progress this week.

Me again ... with a recipe request!
Does anyone have a Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese recipe .... where you put everything in the crock together, including the macaroni being uncooked?
I have one like that for lasagna ... though I know the cooking time for Mac and Cheese, may not be feasable for the milk and cheese
I can always hope that one of you kitchen gurus happen to have one!
THANKS!!!!!!!!

Cooking oil
2 cups skim milk
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk ( I don't like evap milk so I use 3%)
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
Grease the pot of the crockpot. In different bowl whisk together milk, evaporated milk ( or substitute 3%), egg, salt and pepper. Pour milk mixture into the crockpot. Add cheese and uncooked macaroni. Stir gently to mix.
Turn slow cooker on low and cook 3-4 hours, or until the custard is set and the macaroni is tender. (Do not cook more than 4 hours, or the sides will begin to dry out).

Well, here is the center of one of my twin size quilts...still need to get the corners on to make it rectangle. I will border it with the same blue in the sashing and then a narrow gold border. Then around that I will have a border of PC blocks w/sashing and more borders to make it the right size. I see that OK posted some sample layouts while I was away, the first is similar to what I am doing.

Carrie - It sounds like ya had a great retreat. What a beautiful quilt center ya got there. It's gonna be a stunner! I can't wait ta see both o' your quilts when they are finished. Thanks for the preview.
Janie - I sent the recipe ta my DD. It sounds like it is right up her alley.
All o' ya'll - I just realized that I posted about my new DGS on the "Rosie" thread, & not here. He will be born in the middle o' March. His name will also have the MNB initials. I've already got a quilt planned. Actually I played w/some o' the leftovers from his DB's quilt & made some square-in-squares. I plan on playin' with the arrangement o' 'em & sewin' sashin' 'em. It should go tagether quite quickly. (Famous last words.)

Janie--other Grands are going to be here for a quick trip through on Thursday night. This will be a wonderful dish to fix as I'm not sure the exact time they will get here. Thanks
Oh Carrie--it looks great with real fabrics, not images!
dublb--a new Grand--congratulations!

Well I am all unpacked and found a couple more blocks I hadn't taken pictures of. The last few not posted are those towards the end of the book...Verna Belle's Favorite sure took a while! Tonight I am working on squaring up blocks while we watch tv.

Lots of chatter to catch up on, grandbabies, (congratulations) quilt layouts amd everything in between. QuiltE I only have 2 blocks left to piece and hope to get to them this week. QNS can't wait to see your finished quilt hint hint
I have been sewing my blocks into rows and have rows 6 to 10 completed so here's a sneak peek. Hope you like it....
