Praying for those thinking of lost little ones.
OK--how exciting for you to have 2 little ones share both your DH and your birthdays. My oldest DD shares a birthday with my DH parents (all 3 were born on Feb 22nd...grandparents were 60 and 65 the year she was born).
I had my follow-up appt with the surgeon was today. Good news is no surgery...he says it doesn't act like rotator cuff and since the MRI didn't show a tear for sure he is sending me to another specialist. This doctor does non-surgical treatments and looking at his website there are a couple that look like they might help me. My appt is on Tuesday.

OK, congrats and happy belated Birthday to you and your DH. I hope you had a wonderful day.
Carrie, good luck and I hope all goes well.
Still no word from QuiltE
I started assembling my Sylvia1. For the first time I"m using cornerstones. I started this Sylvia quite soon after I started quilting and I'm ashamed to say I did a very bad job on the first blocks No threads clipped, all ears still on, bad pressing.....I will leave all of them but one in the quilt, it's nice to see I made some progress. One block I never liked, I thought about it since I made it and finally decided not to use it. I know it will always bother me when I'm going to put it in the quilt and it's right in the centre

Anael, you have discovered the BIG lesson in quilting, the blocks have to be pleasing to your eyes! And we all see things differently, 'cause we are unique individuals. Have a good day!
I think QuiltE is doing that as well, very busy in the sewing room so she will be ready for Dear Jane in January...maybe even have one all done!
Honchey, I figured out the table runner and its looking nice!!

QNS, I know she has one done already, I've seen it It's gorgeous!
I'm very pleased with how my Sylvia comes together. Most of the blocks fit exactly, some lose a little point but elsewhere the point doesn't hit the seam so overall it's ok I'm 4 rows down, still 10 to go, meaning 40 blocks into the top and 100 waiting.

I need your help, ladies. I'm making a block that has *bleeping* y-seams. Not acute angles, more like the hands on the clock at 7:00. I'm paper piecing it. Do I remove the paper from the seams before sewing the y-seams in place? Seems to me I should but I've only done 2-3 blocks with y-seams and they were acute angles and I did remove the paper but not sure with this one. Or do I pass over this block LOL???? Thanks!!!
