My best friend lost her 2 year battle with ovarian cancer yesterday. She was so brave. When she was diagnosed they told her she had at best 8 months. She fought for 26 months. I can't tell you how much I'll miss her. Please, ladies, get your annual check-ups and if something doesn't feel right, push your doc to investigate. She had symptoms for 4 months before someone listened to her. Hug your families extra tight and use those Sunday dishes everyday. Don't save them for "someday".

Sorry, JanRN, that you lost your best friend to cancer. {[(hugs)]} We can all met in the virtual RV, have hot drink of your choice and some Butterscotch Sour Cream Cake and you can tell us about your friend. Celebrate her life with us.

So sorry about your friend, Jan. Life is too short.
DGD is celebrating her 8th BD today. Other than her BD is 1-22 it'll be a great day. Family celebration has been postponed so many times due to weather. Snowed yesterday and no plows yet and it's to start snowing another 2-6" tomorrow afternoon.....
Must make a cake off I go.

Jan--Sorry to hear about your BF. Praise God that you had the time with her that you did. I too lost my best friend to cancer (melanoma that spread to organs, spine and brain) a little over 2 yrs ago. She made it about 18 months after they removed the first mole. I was very thankful for the time we had together.

JanRN ... {{{{HUGS}}}} so sorry for the loss of your friend. No matter how much you know/expect it will happen, it is still hard. Take care of yourself, and you too, do something for you to celebrate your friendship and to honour her.

Oh Jan, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I have one DF that is suffering with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. They gave her about a year to live, and it has been nine months already. She is on Hospice Care. We have been friends for about 45 years! Our kids were small at that time. I do not live close to her, so send her cards all the time. I know I will be broken hearted when I hear the news of her passing. Know that she is no longer suffering, and in a much better place. Praying for you and your friend!
