We are only as old as we feel and as First Lady Barbra Bush once said, "I am young and thin on the inside." (Poor woman was always being compared to petite Nancy Reagan.)
I'm not a big TV watcher, but thanks to DVR's, there are a couple of shows I enjoy watching. I can see a whole episode of "Jeopardy" in 15 minutes! I listen to public radio constantly, specifically Wisconsin PR. Always keeps me up on news all over the world and through many cultures without leaving my sewing room.
I live in a small house, but my window looks out on a large world.--Confucious

Two great quotes, OKSGlad .. I'll have to snag them for the future!
Not that I "knew" her, I always liked the looks of Barbara! And poor thing, to be compared to Nancy!!
While I don't "watch" a lot of TV, I do have my favourites that I like to catch and "not" watch! ... though my world doesn't fall apart if I miss them!!!

Good to see you back, Janie. These are both so lovely. I'm a sucker for blue so really like the outer fabric in CDelight. The plaid really highlights your CtyFair. Must've been tricky to sew on the bias. Good job.

ok, Jan and Wendi,
Thanks for the compliments. These blocks were fun and easy. The bias wasn't too bad because I bit the bullet and paper pieced County Fair. I'm not really a pp fan.
I've been waiting for a spot to put my little cowgirl. It is so much fun to look at the variety of colours and fabrics. What a talented, clever bunch!

JanieW ... now isn't that just the cutest Lil Cowgal? and she's framed up perfectly with those fabrics. ITA with the others, you really nailed the County Fair, including the bias work! Great mix/match of the fabrics/colours chosen.
