Hi Everyone, I managed to get the easy one for this week done--The first of many I still have to catch up with--I feel like I'm really back in the groove again-- my sewing corner is back in operation again. :P :P

Thank you so much! I just got started again and it really feels good to know it turned out nice. My blocks have been absent for awhile. Thanks again.

    Blocks 43 (sort of) & 44

I can't figure out how to join the corner sections to the center; do I have to hand sew it? I asked this before but my post got buried so I'm really needing your help (obviously LOL). Thanks so much for all the help and suggestions-
    Peace-Jan

I am hand sewing all of my blocks, BUT this one was a pain! it should not be assembled this way!

if you look closely at the photo in your book you will see that the block was not made to the pattern, it was assembled in four quarters.
the center diamond shape would have to be in four. thereby having need of eight smaller triangles instead of the four larger ones. in addition to the four squares.

    does this make any sense?
