RW I love your blocks. They're sweet and romantic. Love the fabrics and your piecing is excellent as always. Great job.
Isn't this fun? I didn't answer the poster who asked if this was a club. I'm so addicted to these blocks that it feels like a cult LOL.
Passionpiecer there is a thread called "I wonder if anyone is interested in doing the Farmers Wife's Sampler Quilt"; look under BOM and you'll find it. This is so fun that anyone can jump in. We're at blocks 69 & 70 making 2 blocks per week. We welcome any one jumping in and you can post under each week. We love oohing and aahing. This has been a neat "trip"-learning so much.

I so love looking at everyone's blocks. It's amazing what a difference the choice of fabric makes to the look of a block. I like them all. Here are mine.

rw- what gorgeous blocks. they remind me of old-fashioned furniture and being peaceful

Evie--love both your blocks, but especially the second.

I'm reposting the photo for # 70.... The outside corners are reversed...or the little squares are reversed.. however you look at it. For some reason I can't get the colors right where they belong in some blocks even when I mark the pattern. I think I'm going to get a mirror and look at it that way. Maybe then I'll get it right!!! :( :(

Anne, we have to continue til they're pieced. I wouldn't have come this far without all the support here. I'd have stopped at around #10 and made potholders!!
I can't tell you how much I've learned and grown from this. I re-did some of my earlier blocks because I've become a better piecer from watching and listening to all of you. I really want to do another group project when this one is done (don't hit me!) Just no applique-hate to applique.
