Posting time again; love seeing all the different colors on the same blocks. Loved your greeting and blocks, Anne.

Hi, again! Lots of pretty blocks already. "Swallow" is odd, but "Tall Pine Tree" is even more odd. I don't like it. Here are mine:

I keep on looking at tall pine and find that if you used three different fabrics 1. tree trunks, 2. tree tops, 3. background.. it would have appeared to be more balanced, like looking in the forest. but with the two fabrics it's..to me...out of balance. I only did the two fabric block and I'm sorry I didn't use a different fabric for the tree trunks. I'm not changing it. Anne

I agree about Pine Tree so that's why I used 3 colors-the tree stood out. Still don't "get" swallow block.

These blocks are beautiful! The colors everyone chose are great.

Hi JanRN, The "Swallow" is a bird and if you step away and look at the block from a distance the "bird" image apears to be at a downward angle.

Here are mine. I accidentally posted on the discussion page...

I actually love my sparrow block! The tree one, however, is strange though. I agree with what everyone's been saying. At least it will be "hidden" in with a hundred other blocks!

Quilting Nina Sue, what a great idea to change the pine tree block! Yours looks great.

Deranged Damsel, I love your pine needle fabric. I can almost smell the forest. I love forests more than anything. I live close to the ocean, wouldn't you know?

Thanks Quilting Nonnie and Jan RN for the compliments. At this stage, I need all the encouragement I can get.

RW--Yours is the first block that looks actually like a tree! Congrats. I love the colors in your sparrow.
