OKSGlad + QNonnie ... I think most of us that have done scrappies have that thought regularly! OMG did I ever when I did my Spirit Quilt which was my first really-real scrappy, done as a $10 challenge. Finished I still marvel at it, so I think it's glory and that of it's sister quilt that I made in other colours are what give me the confidence to forge on in scrappy-dom and accept that everything goes with everything (well most everything!)

OKSGlad ... it really seemed to get washed out in the pic. I'm not sure that at any level, you can see the cute little bees and butterflies that I worked at getting on the triangle and kept the blue flowers on the squares, all from the same fabric.

JanRN -- OKSGlad is right ... you really got the 3-D effect going! I hadn't even noticed that it was possible til I looked at yours and went OMG look at those 3-D rectangle cube thingies!

Moi? .... lesson learned many times over, there are reasons that one should peak at the work of those that have gone before them! I've tried to not do that, so as not to let it influence what I would choose. Maybe, Just Maybe for PC????????

Why re-invent the wheel?

Only a couple years late - but better late than never. Finished 105 October, 2012. Cut out 106 then but just finished November, 2013.

Another pair of lovely blocks. Love the unique color combination in the WG Chase especially.

Great blocks, AuntJo. You're doing better than I did with a quilt I made my son. I started it when he was in first grade. When I finished it, for the quilting stencils I traced his 2 kids' hands!! 19 years after I started it!! Great to hear from you and look forward to your finished quilt.

Default Keep up the good work

I love your blocks. I'm glad to see someone else hasn't finished yet. I have to finish my son and new wife's wedding quilt then I'm going to finish mine. I had stopped because I needed to do something else because I was killing myself with timelines and anxiety. Now I just can't wait to finish it!

Keep up the good work! Hopefully, you'll see mine in a few months.

Nice to see you near the finish Aunt Jo. May you feel refreshed and go for the finish on Farmer's Wife.

Strange that mine never did yell at me; just waited patiently until I finished with it. Now it hands in my dinning room for all to see. PC is still on my vertical working board waiting for me to finish the borders which are cut out. My one good eye developed a cataract much to my dismay....but the bad news turned good after the removal and it checks out to be 20/20. "Seams" I have run out of excuses. Oh, its Thanksgiving time.
