My thread shows, but only a little...thats why I'm going to switch to the darker for my "betweens". I don't want anything to take any attention away from the blocks/tris.

Jan, have fun with the kites..!

I finished two kites today and got the third one cut out. They weren't too bad, make you think pretty hard. Since I'm a pink nut all my kites will be pink. Jane made one gold.

Jan sounds lovely, have we seen yours all laid out, your blocks were so crisp I loved them. Have you quilted all yours yet?

I have managedto quilt Row A and pinned it all together to get the feel of it.

Yes Patti I am finding the quilting a bit more enjoyable because the blocks are so small.

I have to work for a few days now so will be slow finishing the third and fourth kites but will post when I am done. I will start quilting my blocks when the kites are finished. Quite anxious to start them!

Isn't work just a terrible interuption from our hobbies??? LOL!! There really isn't a reason why you can't go ahead and start quilting your blocks while you "relax" at night though. I think thats how Lesley finished hers so quickly- she was quilting and piecing it at the same time!

Whenever you get them done, we'll be anxious to see them though.
