Sorry Elle...they should say 5 x 8.....actually the very best way to do it to make sure there isn't a problem is to click on "SIZE FROM QUILT"....that way they come out perfect.

there is just so much to read about this quilt. like, i didn't realize pictures were posted weekly, till i got 6 weeks posted. i saw week l, then didn't see any until maybe the 6 wk posted. felt so dumb, when i realized, that those numbers on some of those posts, were the blocks listed for the weeks. i was trying to get thru the 375 pages. finally got up to about 100, and the quilt still wasn't started. so, i just started bluffing my way thru the blocks. i am so glad i got the rulers. for sure, we get the correct measurements like that. i have thought about not squaring them up, till later, cause, you know, i might find out, there needs to be another 1/2 inc or something. but i have been squareing up with the ruler, and just trusting the powers that be, that they are right. i sure apprec. you old timers coming back to check on us slow poke newbies. thx you all....TODAY, I AM DOING HAND WORK, WHILE BABYSITTING.

Yes, sewNso, the rulers will make the blocks absolutely perfect. Tris are the same way. It works really well if you spritz them with a little Best Press and press them before you trim them down.
