Everyone's blocks look so great, though I'll admit I'm a bit nervous about that triangle block after reading what you all are saying about it. I'm a few weeks behind so thankfully I won't have to face this block for a little while.

Tiff...you won't have any trouble with it I'm sure. I don't know how to actually "sew"...so anything other than a straight line sends me waaayyyy past my skill level

I'm with you. I do not mend nor do I make clothing. I cringe whenever my daughter wants to bring her clothes to me to be fixed. It's one of the reasons why we got her a sewing machine for Christmas! Now she can mend her own clothes!

I still have to make the triangle for week 3 before I move on to week 4. I'm hoping tonight. If I don't work on a purse I'm making for a friend. Going to work sure does get in the of sewing. lol

I tried several times to regroup RS6 but it just doesnīt so think there could be a little hiccup in the software. I noticed other people have tried with no success on that block too. I am going to try and redraft it, I didnīt like all the seams in the diamonds. I know I ambeing fussy but well thats me I guess.

You are so right Elle, the software won't let you regroup RS6. Thats why I ended up just cutting the outline drawing apart into the groups that worked better for me. You can do that, just remember the seam allowance on the outside of the pieces since there won't be any shown on your paper.

I regrouped similar but not exactly like the thatquilt. site shows. Have you looked at that?

When we get to week 6, I did a change on the triangle that makes it so there are no y-seams or insets. I'm really happy with it and when the thread posts, I'll explain what i did. It does put two seams in triangles, so you may not want to do it that way Elle.

I'm looking forward to more pictures coming along. We're in Week 4 ladies...keep up the good work!!

Esq, I have left it for the moment and plodded on with some others. Who knows I may well end up having to put in the seams in the diamonds, its a real buster of a thing to do.

I'm holding back on whether I redo RS6 or not. I'm not real happy with it...but at this point, it is actually done...so...when you put out the new info Esq...I'll give it a good look I'm sure!

Okay, here are my blocks for week 5. Once you get past the triangle the blocks are pretty easy...a couple are even labeled with that lovely letter "B". :D
