Wilhemina....we are using the same fabric!!! How exciting! I bought mine as a jellyroll...what about you? And I love your blocks! So glad you are playing!
Yes! Sandpat we are using the same fabric, I noticed that too...it will be fun to see if we ever make the same fabric selection for the same block! I had a hard time with the fabric selection, but I really like this one with all the swirls and stars. I did a search on the internet and found it on sale, so I bought some fat quarters and extra of the lighter fabrics, but have a nice plain beige muslin too, so with my fingers crossed, I hope to have enough to finish the quilt top.

Well, I bought the Jelly Roll just to get me started and I have maybe a third of it left. I bought 3 different beige type backgrounds to use (along with the few that were in the roll). I've kept a bag of the scraps and I think I can get a few more out of the scrap bag...so I'll be on the "hunt" for something else. I might go for one of the Moda Civil War sets (Brackman)...or even get some more KT...they all seem to go together well... Yes...I'm really happy with it so far...yours look great!

Sandpat - I agree those lines are similar, my original plan was to use reproduction civil war fabrics. After living in the Overland Park, KS area for 12 years I like almost all of the Brackman quilting designs and fabrics. It was your triangle this week when I realized I have the same fabric line and I love your choice of fabric combinations on that one! Speaking of tri's I need to get busy as that is the last block for week 7 for me...plus all the blocks for first five weeks!!!

Sharon, I certainly don't see anything that would tell me that they aren't VERY WELL done! I love the way you are figuring out how to do some of these blocks and tri's....I really study your pics....pick it up some will ya'.....I know that I need to copy the way you are working and I don't wanna do mine over (well, except for the ones that I'm really ashamed of  )

Wil....that was my original plan also...use the Brackman...but my LQS had the jelly roll in stock and not the whole line of the Brackman...so, well, here we are! I do love the fabric though!
