Joyce, here is the thread that began the project:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-28063-1.htm

It's a lot to read thru...but if you can, it will be helpful for what we're doing!! I hope you join in the fun...We are doing approximately 4 squares and 1 triangle each week and this will take about a year and 1/2 to complete!

I am really behind! Your block are all so beautiful!
There are so many things that I have going on already and have obligated myself to another mini swap! The Big Mini Block Swap. Isn't due till May and I just couldn't resist.
I have also been trying to finish a couple of UFO's and get caught up with a BOM at my lqs. Then I got a phone call from another lqs that I had missed the first meeting for the Bom that started last month. Yes, I had completly forgotton about that one!
Honest to God, I feel like a cat chasing it's tail.....am getting nowhere fast.
At least this one is for 6" blocks.
Have a happy day all....

Ah! I'm a late bloomer...and still doing the first week! I only have two blocks done, and the needle on Hannah is bent...doesn't it make sense that I would choose a treadle machine that they don't make needles for anymore? ARGHHHH!!

So...I've found an ebay seller that has some...keep your fingers crossed for me! I *really* want to make this quilt on that treadle!

Oh dear, the idea of a week off sounds great, but do you know I have even picked up a really old and fine cross stitch to have a go at just to keep my hands busy - can't sew as ds is in my sewing room (sorry i mean his bedroom) oooops! :)

They are longer, skinnier, and have a groove down one side...I've managed to locate a few of them, it's going to be a week or so before I get them tho...and I've decided that I am going to be constantly looking for them and collecting what I can so I never run out!
