Got mine finished today and here they are. I am really leaning towards redoing the jail block. I couldn't get them lined up straight...any secrets to lining up the units out there?

Oh Sandpat, I see you found the week 6 thread! I LOVE how you did your triangle with 3 fabrics! See ladies, all kinds of alternatives!! That is fantastic! I'll add you to the pot for the drawing!

I can't see anything wrong with the Jail block Patti - leave it as is until you have done a bunch of other blocks, and see how you feel then. I would rather be doing the next one, than redoing a previous one - if you have the book, Jane's were far from perfect at times.

If you want to keep busy when you can't get to your machine, why not do some of the applique blocks? Then there are the ones that have pieced backgrounds, with applique sections on them. I have a friend coming for a fortnight, so I have been busy doing some of those, so that I can sew in the evenings whilst chin wagging with my friend. (I have been told on here that 'chin wagging' isn't all that common in the USA, but I bet you can all get my drift'!)

Patti, I agree with Lesley...I see nothing wrong with your block, and certainly nothing worthy of a redo...whatever your imagination must be seeing! I see a perfect looking block!!!

Well, thanks..but you know I do know how to "hide" those bad parts in my pics

I like doing some of the blocks with 3 colors.
