I'll post my fabrics tomorrow. I do have my block ready to post too but will wait until Monday. I did the Double Star block.

QuiltE...any block that you can divide into 9 squares even if the squares are subdivided are fair game. Looking forward to seeing yours.

Oh well it's March and I made my block. So here it is. The block is called The Letter X and comes from EQ5.

I just thought it would be fun to make a quilt with only 9 patch blocks. There are so many patterns and all different. Maybe I will do that one day

Anael...I love your block. That's one of my favorite color combinations right now. I think I have the same batik fabric.

Here are my fabrics. The lighting isn't too good and I'm not completely satisfied with my choice of values. I think I need a couple more mediums. They were grouped together in the LQS and I fell in love with them. I'll see how it develops.

sooooo many pretties!! the blocks and the fabrics!! i just rec'd a box of solids, so i'm considering going all solid for this one. but.... since it will take a year, i wonder how many times i can change my mind?? lol. looks like it will be scrappy!! or solid, or.........? but i sure do like what i see so far!

note to krazy-- you just got that page full of ideas to drive me nutz! lol, i'm already there!! lots of good ideas, too!
