Ok, I'm really hungry now with all the food and beverage talk. One request though. Hoping we have some other choices as I need to avoid rhubarb and black tea. They are on the list of foods that can contribute to the cause of kidney stones. I had a really bad case last summer- 2 stones, one had to have surgery for to "blow" it up and put me in the hospital for 2 weeks, (had a kidney infection and then got septis) and am so thankful I survived it all. It was a horrible ordeal, but I am fine now. Anyway, I love cinnamon streusel coffee cake and lemonade, so I'll bring them!!
I am planning on joining the train ride. How does big soft ginger cookies sound? My family insist that I bring them to all gatherings. They are best right from the oven, so I will bake them just before I board.
I haven't had a chance to look through my stash yet. Been busy getting ready for our guild's quilt show. We had a wonderful new arena to use this time, and the push was on to fill it up.

I WON! I WON! I have to hop off the train for a minute ... I just got the following e-mail: You're a WINNER! - McQ News/Free Quilt Kit Giveaway!

I won 25 MODA fat quarters! If they get here soon enough I may be changing my fabric choices!

I couldn't find it either and I used Springs Industries. But, I found this:

Just a little down the page. Three different colours tan, green and red.

Here's my choices from left to right are A-E. Sounds like we forgot the CHOCOLATE! I'll whip up something with it in it! Maybe some yummy chocolate chip cookies??

She said she used leftovers from 2 charm packs. I think somewhere else she said that 1 charm pack would not be enough.
Cindy, your batiks are gorgeous. I really, really, really love the 2nd one!
I need to get a pic of my fabrics on here to see if everyone thinks they will work.

In the first post she said she used leftovers from 2 charm packs. I think she clarified it later and said you would probably need most of 2 two charm packs. I think that is what I am going to use also.

I think I will be using Charm Packs, to make this new Mystery Quilt. Each pack has 40, 5" squares in it. So if you are doing the scrappy look you would need 80, 5" squares. I hope this helps answer the question of how manny squares. Anyway that's how I understand it to be!! Good Luck & Have Fun everyone.
