love how this is going

I remember the carpenter star mystery...always wanted to do a carpenter star and when the last clues were revealed I was so surprised.....I was doing a carpenter star ! ...... Now, I really should get it quilted ( it and 10-12 others ) I keep planning on winning the lottery and purchasing an AQS Millineum ...... dream on !

Kassaundra, what is the underground railroad swap? Never heard of it.
It isn't on this site, but on Back Yard Chickens, there is a small group of us who participate in swaps regularly several a year, and the latest one is the Underground rail road.

Glad you like how this is going, I do too ... very much.

But I truly have the advantage knowing how they are going to look especially as some of the gals are posting what they have done so far along with their yet-to-be-cut E fabric! hee hee {insert diabolic grin here!}

It just occurred to me you might be asking what is the "underground railroad quilt". In slave days the underground railroad used quilts hanging on clothes lines to communicate w/ each other, there were several quilt patterns that had meanings and they would hang the quilt w/ the specific area showing to send the message both to fleeing slaves and the fellow rail roaders.

Gosh, take 1/2 a day off of here, and it's all so busy.
The railroad blocks gave directions on where to go and
when to leave ect. also that they were a safe house.

Can't wait to get the next clue. Judy, you are a great hostess!!!

Worked on my HST today!! I really can't wait to see this come together

PMJ- Can you tell us which fabric's we are done cutting? One of mine had sun damage on it and I've been able to work around it but I only have a small strip left and the sun damage is running right down the middle. I came within 2 inches of it while I was cutting today!!! Phew!! Hoping we're done with it or I can continue to cut around the damage. Thanks!

Oh, ment to say i was forced to go buy chocolate wine.
All this talk about it made me want some. But then walking
up my walkway to my house, my back popped out, so had
to take an oxy first, so the wine has to wait till tomoorw
When i was in the liquo.r store, they managed to sell me a
shot bottle of chocolate vodka. will try that some other time.
And I don't drink, maybe one or two a yr. but all that talk
really got me wanting chocolate.

Loving everything I've seen so far. Really getting curious to see all the finished tops. I am all caught now. Also have a quarter of 16 tiddlywinks piece sets done. I stuck my E fabric underneath but not a lot is showing.
