{As for neeps and totties, that's mashed turnip and mashed pototoes. Haggis I'll let you google, cos there probably vegetarians on board too lol. Suffice to say, it's spicy and tasty! The whisky sauce speaks for itself, he he.}
The neeps and totties sound wonderful, haggis well ummmm hmmmm maybe not so much I think its one of those things I need to try without knowing it... And whiskey sauce or straight wll that is never a bad idea is it?
I brought some spanish baked eggs and home made tortillas (I didn't make them my tortillaria did) its a tough day I think we need some raspberry mimosa's too (those I did make)

Mary love your fabric choices.
Billi, the mimosa's sound delicious, want one now.
going shopping at the store (not the stash, everything is too small) for
a greyish fabric, I think, the white in mine looks to stark. Let's hope JA has
a grey fabric, most are such large prints there, you wouldn't know when they're
cut up. Our JA's has 2-3 grey prints, cos ihave a gey cat an dmade a cat quilt
and i know they don't have much. That's how i know.

I think I'll go have some of those Spanish baked eggs and tortillas right now.
ps. I was just looking for a recipe for this and it looks like a lot of work. Thanks for making.

Last year I was given a bag full of fabric from a friend of a friend and that's mainly what my stash consists of. I wasn't sure if I would have enough of the larger pieces but I found enough fabric for everything and I think it coordinates nicely I wonder if this quilter had planned to put these together in the first place!
the violet color has a small strip of sun damage, will I be able to work around it?

Just got a grey from JA's. On SALE!!! 3.82/yd. So that's what i'm using. can't post a oic
but as we go along, i'll post as I'm sure everyone will, I hope so.
Did I mention I love seeing others work? I do.
Can somebody explain to me the Spanish eggs? thanks, I know there're in the club car,
but it's getting crowded in there. Just dropped off Peanut butter cookies for everyone, they're chewy!!

Hi Judy,
Here are the two choices that I have put together. Now I need your expert advice on weather they will go together enough for the new Mystery Train Ride.
I really like my first choice & the gourd print is an all over print.
The Christmas Print in definitely directional. The large stripe is almost 3" wide & the narrow red one is about 1.5" wide.
I need your opinion & thank you for your time!!
OPPS!! I have pictured them in the opposite order. Leave it to me!!

Here are my preliminary choices (A-E are left to right). The B fabric is white on cream rather than plain white as the photo seems to show. I have plenty of everything except C (I only have one yard of it.). I do have other red tone-on-tone florals I can use if my C needs to be changed for another position. Also, the black does not have those weird brown tones in it that the photo shows (not sure what is up with that), it is a mottled black blender.

You all are so bad. lol I still have 3 quilts to quilt but will work on those as I go along. There's cheesecake in the club car with your choice of toppings. Here are my fabrics. Have a gob of each so can be swapped around if needed. L to R, A to E Retta from hot hot FL.
