Ok it's 5.10pm here and am so excited to get started on my cutting. Judy I posted pictures message#291 do you think those fabrics would work. Lucky me I have a sizzix die for 41/2 " HST finished so the cutting should be easy. Just having a cup of tea in the club car I hope there is some of that upside down flan left - any chance of the recipe?

I podsted this yesterday -- Candy - ooooo double wow for those colors! hopefully that stripe won't read like a stripe. But it isn't too directional so might be fine.. I like the top best.

Before I had a dark gray and black, this is really a very light gray that matches the gray in the floral. I can switch them, no problem. I was just going by the amount of fabric needed as I really wanted the floral to pop. I will change them around. Thanks for the advice, appreciated.

i'm a bit confused at this point -- can't find the pix dotty posted -- and dont remember what the two reds looked like --as long as there is contrast in the reds you will be okay. If they look too similar, find something different.

I think I'm going to try a Bonnie Hunteresque experiment and make a second quilt with scraps. I'll assign colors for A-E, use scraps of those colors, and see how it turns out! What do you think, Judy?

I have cut all my squares but have only one question. Does it matter which way we press the HST?

Polkadiva- you don't let any dust collect on your shoulders, do you.
Good for you.
