It must be Sunday somewhere! I am posting my new block a day early, but right now I have computer time, so I am using it...

I think my 3 shades of brown are not different enough. Maybe would have looked better with a bit more contrast. However, it does go right along into my green and brown quilt theme.

Only 6 more blocks to go. I am excited to think I am actually sticking with this project. Yeah!

hugs, Jup

I just got the book today! Wish I had seen this group when it began. The blocks look hard but I am going for it in January....have a couple projects that I need to finish first. Am looking forward to seeing more of your pictures. Keep sew happy...d

Difergie - love the fabrics in your avatar. I would say the PH blocks are fiddly more than hard. Once you have the foundation blocks sewn, the rest is cutting, pasting and putting a little jigsaw together.

Jup - I always try to remember to take pics of my stuff before I frame under glass. As you can see from my flash glare, I don't remember very often!

Beautiful watercolours. I love your retirement plan - it looks a great place to be. Great addition with the sand and shells.

Wow Jup, you are pulling out all your fancy stitches - they look great.

Facets of Jen is not my favourite block. I also am not happy with my fabric choices but I don't think different fabric would change my opinion about the block.

And YES, it is Sunday here!!

Such talent Deecee and Jupiter! Thank you for posting those paintings - I love to look at all the creative things we do!

Well, since I have it ready and it's Sunday in Australia... ;-) Here is my "Facets of Jenn." Not my favorite either and it has a slight case of wonk - but here it is nonetheless. Our next block seems to be pretty much the same thing but with circle overlays.

Well I hate to be behind the eight-ball, and seeing it is Sunday here at least -

Lara, I think your colour choices work better than mine do.

Lara, I like your color choices better than mine. Very nice.

... and "Happy Sunday" DeeCee!

Jupiter, Lara, & Deecee,
All of your blocks are beautiful. I'm almost embarrassed to post mine. It came out REALLY zonky! But as I mentioned before, I'm not making any of these over.

It adds character Irene! Your stars stand out from the background better with your colour choices.

I don't think any of us were particularly fond of this block. Don't look now, but the next one is a little similar.
