Good for you Blinky - fancy having so many more than you estimated - that was great news. Shemjo, even if you do one block a week, you will still be going in the right direction. Perhaps the schedule was a tad ambitious for some.

I will have to get mine out and actually look to see where I am. I know I have some hand sewing to do for a hinky triangle! Have several weeks going, but not all finished. The schedule was ambitious, and I should have been able to keep up, but I tend to overcommit!
Then I get on this board, and I don't sew! Shame on me!

Don't beat yourself up about it Sharon, life gets in the way sometimes.

I've been thinking I am not even half way through with DJ Quilt  Maybe I shouldn't be thinkin'

Oh no .....Sharon has to suffer like the rest of us.... :-) Sharon you are probably further along then I am :-( It will be ok....a block at a time and it will eventually come together....that is what I am telling myself since I brought DJ back out a few weeks ago. I am doing some other free bom applique blocks along with DJ so it makes it more interesting switching back and forth....and hopefully all will come together eventually. My other projects are hand appliqué so DJ gives me a change. Stay with us!

as far as getting "on this board" sometimes what we need is the camraderie that only we can give each other.

As I said before - even one block here and there is still going forward - some people take years to make this quilt. Hopefully these ones won't take that long, but it won't matter if they do, really, will it?

Blinky 02-01-2011 04:41 PM
