I drew my own pumpkin. I have a sketch pad and I draw on it all the time, I drew my own Hot Air Balloon and the Heart Block for February.

I drew the pumpkin, and then when I cut it out, I cut one of the sections a different fabric, darker orange. HTH. That block is applique.

JeanieG...............Your September Maple Leaf block turned out just perfectly!! :D The batik fabric you used for the leaf part is gorgeous. It just make your leaf look perfect!! :D I also love your background fabric, it goes so well with the batik leaf fabric. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us today.
