The pattern is called Swirling Tulips. Unfortunately, I am not particularly good at designing things, so this was a pattern I bought for a class I took a couple of years ago. You can find the pattern at http://www.quiltsbylyn.com/patterns1.htm It's a little over halfway down the page. After the class I took, it ended up in my UFO pile and I just found it again a couple of months ago. I was trying to figure if I wanted to do more blocks and make it into a quilt and then I decided to join the International Round Robin that just began in September and use it for my center block for that. It has been to Canada to have the first border attached to it and is now in California for the second border. It will be on it's way soon to Georgia. I am anxious to see what develops as the year goes by. If you're at all interested in keeping an eye on it, I am in Group 7 at http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-59656-16.htm.
