here is my block #11 and my block# 10. I am making these from my hotel room in Ga. Hubby is working here so I am taggy along and I work on my blocks while he is at work .Without any interruptions I can really concentrate on what I am doing since I am new to Applique I am having fun with these they are so cute :lol: :lol:

I am haveing an awful time choosing the color for each block . It
took me all afternoon just to choose the center flower for block #10. But now I am off to block#8 wish me luckand thanks for the nice comments. have fun all

LynneK, I know it is difficult, but when all else fails go back to the book colours and see if you have something that looks near it, even if its paler or has a pattern on. You have done great so far.

As for the embroidery taking forever, at least you can do little bits of that in odd minutes (it's very portable too.) and some of the blocks have much less embroidery than this one.

i've done my block 9. i really enjoyed this one, and yes! lot's of embroidery to do!!
but well worth it :)
