Hobbykat, what a great idea for the birds!!!! I never thought of that!! :thumbup: That's another reason I LOVE the QB!! We get so much inspiration from each other!!! :thumbup: Now I'll have to dig through my stash to see what I can find. If I don't have anything, gee, I guess I'll just have to buy some!! :lol:

Mine is done. This is such a cute block and simple too! I haven't sewn around the applique because I don't feel like changing my thread (some excuse!)

Such pretty fabric!!! I like the drk roof, I think I will do that also. I'm just starting to learn applique, and keep putting off starting mine. LOL

Pittsburg Pam - that quilt is wonderful! I'm so green to this stuff that I hadn't even considered using co-ordinating color schemes throughout my blocks! I love all the little extras - the cat, the flower, the apples!

All that's left is the stitching. This will be my second applique attempt and the first time I cut the pieces. I'm not liking the roof so much now, but it's staying :)

And I'm giving them eyes and will embroider on the beaks.

Typically, each month you'll see 3 links. One gives the pattern itself with any directions, etc. Then there is a seperate thread just for the pictures. Lastly, BATKQLTR has been doing a slide show for us each month with all the pictures....EYE CANDY!!! So the 3rd link is for that.

I've done a PP house like yours for another project & like the looks of it. Hmmm... what to do. PP or applique??

Everyone is so unique - I plan to 'peep' around for awhile for more ideas.
