Everyone's blocks are looking great!! Here is mine. I "kinda" cheated :shock: I did mine all applique so the house is a bit smaller. I didn't mean to do that but I had already cut the house so I had to take away a couple of the roofing. But here it is. It was fun to do! Thanks for choosing this one!

I sat down to start my block this afternoon and before I knew it I'm almost done. Still have to attach roof and finish the birds. I don't think the camera picked up the lavender backround it was coming up yellowish(???).

Birdie on the left is a Female King Parrot and birdie on the right is a Rainbow Lorikeet. Here's a pic of a King that visits my garden and my son's Olive Rainbow. |

Hi ...i`ve never done BOM....is there a pattern to follow somewhere....sorry if it`s a silly questions but i looked and couldn`t find...i love all your birdhouses.....reminds me of my grampas farm when i was young...he had them all around his garden...would love to try...thanks, Annette

Love, love the birdhouse block......we feed the birds all year...in summer we have tons of cone flowers and also sun flowers.....so put some on my block....still need to do some hand stitching,the lavender cone flower barely show...the birdhouse fabric has very pale blue flowers which does not show up well, but is very pretty fabric

What a fun block! Thank you QBee! Mine is going to be the front panel of a summer tote, so the background is the same as the rest of the tote.
Just saw the picture with the flowers and I really want to try to add those also. Very nice idea!! |
