Love the 2011 Block of the Month to be a Traditional Sampler! Love those blocks....
I don't want to do an ethnic BOM.
I'd rather not do a traditional sampler. While traditional blocks are OK and I've done a lot of them, I'd rather do something out of the ordinary that uses a little creativity.

Ok don't yell at me but for a few ideas...Something Victorian, Oriental, Universal..as in the universe. I like this one, scene scapes like a landscape of mountains trees, rivers, or wildlife...and someone did mention ethnic. There are some beautiful fabric for all of the above or even what anyone else comes up with. Ok, you all take it from there. Just giving my .2 cents worth.
Oh, I seen somewhere that someone done a combination of Victorian women blocks and the fan block. Just a thought. |
pieced animal blocks - there are a lot of pieced cats available - or butterflies - or birds
I would like something a person who has never quilted before can do.
