since you are making your blocks/top for yourself you can easily make them in red, white, blue, or rainbow. that's the nice thing about this bom. it isn't a swap, you choose the fabric. win, win :thumbup:

I am not sure what it actually means but it always made me think of people having to walk out-of-doors to the outhouse at night--that is if they didn't have a pan under their bed.

nothing to apologize for. i did not mean to trivialize your idea. making quilts for our service people is great. many members on the board have made QOV's. i am sure that some participants in this bom will make their blocks with service people in mind.
