This is truly amazing. I am getting the hang of the software, but it does slow me down when I HAVE to read directions! I spent most of the day catching up on posts. Will try to not let that happen again! Have decided to redo I-9 and will post them when I get that done.
Elle, I am so saddened to hear about Colin. Will add you both to my prayer list.

Wow! I've missed alot of blocks! Great job everyone.

Finally finished my 1st week. Not perfect, but close enough for me! It's taking me a long time to complete one block, hopefully with more practice I can get them done sooner.

Ohhhh... I love your fabrics!! Your blocks look great, I'd be totally happy with those. :-)

My problem is the same as Klue's, I'm now up to about 20 DJ's I want to do! LOL

I am working one the make up blocks for this and just wanted to show that at least some of the blocks are totally doable with pretty close the accuracy of paper piecing with just piecing them together, not all the blocks will go together like this but thought that I would give an idea what is possible. you will have to let me know what you think. I am showing the back as well with it cropped close to show how square it is.

You're a legend! :-) I've done a couple of the very simple blocks using normal piecing, but those tiny squares put me off on that one.

It is a very basic block, the two little pieces go on the one end, I don't imagine that working with the paper on top of it was any harder than just putting on the end and taking the few stitches to go across them, I don't recommend it for all of the blocks, it can be an option that some may not be taking,

Thank you for the compliments!

I feel exactly the same way! I finally finished this week's blocks this evening, and I really hope I get faster because otherwise I won't get *any* other quilting done this year! Eeek!

Here are my blocks:
