I'm so happy to see the great looking blocks from the "new to pping" gals. I'm pleased as punch to know you're getting the "hang of it".. I'm putting the finishing touches on Ann today..

I like to scan my blocks..I can make better adjustments to the color that way..no blurs or flash lights..

Why is it I can't find any orange 30"s fabric???

Husky, why not try getting some of the smeared ink on a piece of scrap and see if it comes out.Maybe try some Oxiclean on a q-tip or toothbrush.. What kind of paper are you using with the toner..I think that might be the problem..the ink isn't being absorbed and is just "laying" on the paper the way some ball point pens smear on glossy paper...Anyone have a solution??

I think this one is a little bigger???

Definitely bigger. And greener! I thought your fabric was turquoise til I saw this photo. Cute fabric.

Anne - This is a link to the Bella Solids Color Chart. In checking with my actual color chart, I find the colors are not as vibrant as in "real" life. But it may give you some ideas. They have color charts for Kona solids also.

I wish I could remember where I heard this but, we should not print pp pages on a laser printer ~~~ always use inkjet!
When I went to office depot to try to get my book spiraled (they would not cut off the book for some reason), they said they could print from the cd on their laser printer. I chose not to have them do it. In retrospect, it may be a good thing to have a complete copy of the cd spiral bound for reference.
Can anyone here help out with a better answer to the laser printer pp problem?

sweet - I had heard that you should not print pp pages on a laser printer also. I also had my book spiral bound - makes it so much easier to use when it lays flat!!

katybob - I got all my favorite 30's in one place and hope not to duplicate too many of the blocks.
