Oh Jeanie, I sympathise as I like to stay up late, too. But what fun to spend time with family and support education while doing it.

Sounds like a great tournament! I am a night owl too... early mornings kill me!

JeanieG what a wonderful family activity to remember beloved family and support education as well. Thanks for the sweet words about our small family. Have not to see any of them since, but still hoping.

I am not a night owl, but it does take a few minutes for me to wake up. No naps in the middle of the day until I am really under the weather...which is rare. Lots to be thankful for and counting the blessings.

Another raining day. Its coming down slow, and has be more or less continuous for several days and predicted to continue through Thursday....80% on Wednesday and Thursday. Our indoor kitty cat does not care for all that moisture outside and wants us to make the sun shine instead. One thing we cannot do, so extra TLC for her seems to work.

I had a busy weekend in Midland & am back in Brady. It was a crazy busy weekend. :) I was thrilled to be there but am happy to be home!

Exhausted tonight but had soooo much fun today. Enjoyed hearing their quilting stories and seeing their favorite quilt shops today. (Mine too) Good friends, good trip, and good lunch together. Hope Ann is able to come again on the April 12th date. Tiem for skin cancer check up.

The trip was everything I expected and more, it excelled them. Yes, things came home with me. First was the Crazy RedHead Warehouse sale where I pickup two pieces, then back to her shop where I paid more for those fabrics:
With 3 1/2 years it should brighten up a bed in the winter, with blocks on each side of the panel. Love blues and purple fabric choices. On down the road, (repeated some to correct errors; driver did a perfect turn around and back on track on Iowa county hard surfaced roads) to Brooklyn.the Brooklyn fabric was all $6. per yard so it will make up into a snowflake King quilt for $69.00 which I thought was a reasonable priced king size quilt. A snow white Kona with embroidered snowflakes will be added. (Now that it is working!) On to Williamsburg, Rainbows and Calico Store for Kaufman's new line, metallic fibers in this beautiful fabric. It may be the next in line to make up into blocks. Rainbows is becoming one of our favorite shops for quality fabrics, enjoyed this new line of fabric. The last stop at 4:30 was the Three Sisters which we always love. Notice the little colored chickens instead of 'dots'. Same was true of bunny fabrics, etc., in their store. Yes, there is a 'chicken or two quilts' on my bucket list. Brooklyn has a great 'deli' shop near the quilt shop for a reasonable price and delicious' lunch. Ann Wheeler has a LA business between Queen City and Green Top on 63, but since she has had cataract surgery on one eye she has a few days off and could go with Quilter 65 and myself on the trip. We hope she joins us on the next trip we take in April. Now, how soon can I make progress on my quilt projects...stay tuned. Enjoy.

I will print the pictures out and add them to my notebook were I have recorded the purchases and design numbers and manufactor of each fabric piece. If I run out, the info is all there to order more. Finished projects will have a phote added in the info as well....and dates of when, so it will be challenge to me to finish in less than a few years. LOL!
